Contact us

There's no form on this page — just email addresses. Pick the one that matches what you're writing about and a real person will reply. We answer everything ourselves; nothing gets routed through a ticketing system or a chatbot.

Four addresses, four kinds of question.

General

Anything else

Questions about the calculators, suggestions for new features, feedback on the mix guide, or just a hello. This is the default inbox.

Corrections

Spotted an error?

A typo, a wrong figure in a table, an out-of-date code reference, or a calculator that's producing a weird result. We fix these fast — usually within 48 hours.

Privacy

Data & rights requests

GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, Australia Privacy Act — access, deletion, correction, opt-out. Mention the law and the country you're writing from.

Legal

Legal matters

Terms of service questions, copyright takedowns (DMCA and equivalents), trademark queries, partnership or licensing requests for the calculator code.

Response time: usually within 2 business days. Legally bound by 30 to 45 days for formal privacy requests (GDPR / UK GDPR within 30, CCPA within 45). Most things get answered same day or next morning.

What to put in your email.

The more context you can give us up front, the faster we can answer. For most kinds of message, this is plenty:

  • For a calculator question or weird result — name the calculator (slab, yard, footing, etc.), the country you had selected, the numbers you put in, and what number you got versus what you expected. A screenshot helps but isn't required.
  • For a correction — the page URL, the section, and what you think should be there instead. If you can point to an authoritative source (ACI, BS, AS, CSA, an engineering textbook), even better.
  • For a privacy request — which right you're exercising, the country or state you're writing from so we know which law applies, and any details that help us identify what you're asking about.
  • For a legal matter — the relevant section of the Terms of Service or page on the site, and what specifically you'd like us to do.

We don't need long context if your question is short. "Hey, the cost calculator is showing zero for Australia — am I missing something?" is a perfectly good email.

The reviewers behind the calculators.

Calculator pages and the mix guide are reviewed by licensed engineers in each country we cover. If your question is technical and country-specific, mentioning your country in the subject line helps us route the message to the right reviewer.

About engineer–client relationships.

The reviewers above check the content of the site for technical accuracy. They aren't your engineer-of-record, and emailing them through this site doesn't create an engineer–client relationship. For a structural design that will be permitted, built, or signed off, hire a licensed professional in your jurisdiction directly.

What we don't offer.

So you don't have to ask:

  • No phone support. The site is small enough that one person answers most messages, and email gives both sides time to be clear.
  • No live chat or chatbot. Same reason — and we'd rather a human reply 6 hours later than a bot reply in 6 seconds.
  • No engineering consultations. The calculators are reference tools. For sized footings, rebar schedules for your soil, or anything that goes to a building department, you need a licensed engineer in your jurisdiction.
  • No physical office to visit. The site is operated remotely.
  • No commercial sales line. The site is free; there's nothing to upsell.
  • No newsletter signup. We don't have a newsletter, and we don't have an email list to put you on if you write to us.
If you write to us, you write to people, not a CRM.

Your email lands in a real inbox, gets read by a real person, and gets a real reply. We don't enrich your address with marketing data, we don't add you to a drip campaign, and we don't share your message with anyone else. After your question is answered, we keep the thread for up to 24 months in case of follow-up, then delete it. See the Privacy Policy for the full retention picture.
